Dr. Tashi Thinlas, Director Health & Medical Education Department, UT Ladakh, was accompanied by the BMO, Khalsti, SO (Planning), and JE, R&B, Khalsti for a one-day inspection /monitor the ongoing infrastructural projects at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Mangue, Hemis shukpachan, Ullay Tokpo, Saspochay and Liker.

The inspection focused on the construction of 4 set staff quarters under SDP at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Ullay Tokpo, Mangue, Saspochey, Hemis Shukpachan and Liker carried out at the cost of Rs. 1.6765 Lacs each. The team expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work.

Dr. Thinlas directed the BMO and R&B, representative in Khaltsi to proceed with the official hand over as soon as possible, and to clear any pending liabilities  of the contractor at the earliest. The villagers led by member requested to sanction an ambulance as existing ambulance funded under MPLADS, will expire by the end of 2025.
However, the team voiced concerns about the poor workmanship observed in the construction of the NTPHC building at Hemis Shukpachan, under District Capex Budget.

Later in the evening, Dr. Thinlas and the SO (Planning), accompanied by local villagers of Liker led by the Nambarder, inspected the construction site of the NTPHC building and 4 set staff quarters under SDP in Liker.
