Absentee Voting Facility for senior citizens started from May 11

Leh, May 13, 2024: Absentee Voting Facility has started from May 11 for people belonging to the class of senior citizen (AVSC) who is defined as any elector above 85 years of age or person with disability (AVPD) who is defined as persons having benchmark disability certificate (Not less than 40% of a specified disability).

Leh, May 13In view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, postal voting of Absentee Voters of Essential Services (AVES) has commenced from May 13 and will end on May 15.
