LG Mathur discuss 1MW Geothermal power project with ONGC
DELHI, FEBRUARY 14, 2022: Chairman/Managing Director, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Dr. Alka Mittal and team called on Lieutenant Govenrnor, Ladakh, R K Mathur in New Delhi today to apprise the later of the progress in the 1MW Geo thermal power project, tweeted the LG Office.
Deliberations on the execution plan for the 1st phase of the project viz. acquiring wildlife clearance, drilling of wells and allied topics took place during the meeting.
Pertinent to mention that the LG on Sunday in a meeting with Managing Director, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), Suman Sharma discussed various projects, including 20 MWac/50 MWdc with 50 MWh battery at Taru; 25 kW Green Hydrogen project at SNM Hospital in Leh and 30 MW wind project at Shashithang in Kargil.
The LG Ladakh also discussed about 5 MW SPV project at Khangral, Kargil, 100 kW standalone modular RE-based solution for off-grid locations in Ladakh and hybrid renewable energy park in Ladakh.
