UoL approves 30 Skill Enhancement Courses in Constituent Colleges
KARGIL JUNE 02, 2021: According to the Registrar, University of Ladakh (UoL), the Vice Chancellor, University of Ladakh has approved the introduction of 30 skill enhancement courses in the Constituent Degree Colleges of the University from 3rd to 6th semesters.
Courses which have been introduced in the 3rd semester include Renewable Energy and Energy Harvesting, Early Childhood Care and Education, Learning Skills of Afsana in Urdu, Persian Conversation and Speaking, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Impact Assessment and Crafts and Designs-l.
Similarly, courses introduced in case of the 4th semester consist of Mathematical Modelling and its Applications, Heritage Management and Preservation, Mushroom Cultivation Technology, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Data Analysis, Business Communication besides Crafts and Designs-II.
Basic Analytical Technique, Soft Skills in Media, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Sociology Gender Sensitization, Archaeology: An Introduction, Geography of Tourism, Personal Selling and Salesmanship, Public Speaking/Conversation Skill in Bhoti/Ladakhi are the courses which have been approved for introduction in the 5th semester.
Meanwhile, courses that have been introduced in the 6th semester comprise of Managing Stress, Skill Development in Wildlife Studies and Research, Clinical Application of Bio-chemistry, Creative Writing Skill in English, Basic Skill and Knowledge of Logic, Disaster Management, Production Technology for Medicinal and Aromatic Crops of Ladakh and E-Commerce.
