Registrations begin for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025

Srinagar, April 15 (KINS): Registrations for the annual 52-day-long Shri Amarnath Yatra officially commenced, marking the beginning of preparations for one of the most significant spiritual pilgrimages in India. Devotees can register online through the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board’s official website jksasb.nic.in or offline at over 540 designated bank branches and facilitation centers across the country, including Panchayat Bhawan, Vaishnavi Dham, and Mahajan Hall.

Registration is mandatory for all pilgrims, and each applicant must submit a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by an authorized medical institution to ensure fitness for the demanding high-altitude trek. To manage the inflow of pilgrims and ensure safety, only 15,000 yatris will be permitted to undertake the journey each day.

A nominal registration fee of ₹220 per person has been fixed, and every pilgrim must carry a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card, which is mandatory for tracking and safety purposes throughout the Yatra.

The LG reviewed progress on ongoing infrastructure projects and instructed departments to ensure seamless facilities such as water supply, sanitation, medical care, communication, and emergency services throughout the Yatra route.

Pilgrims are encouraged to complete registrations at the earliest and follow all health and safety guidelines. Authorities have appealed for cooperation to ensure a peaceful and spiritually enriching Yatra.
