Leh, March 11: Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, chaired a meeting with civil and army officials to address issues related to defence land in the region.

In the meeting, several land acquisition issues, including those concerning Leh Garrison were resolved .Additionally, the discussion focused on land acquisition matters in Dha-Beema Area, Nimoo, Leh and Kharu, where the army required proper documentation, additional land, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for pending cases. 

To expedite the process, CEC Tashi Gyalson directed the concerned authorities to speed up the process to provide necessary revenue documents to those land which has received no objection. He also instructed officials to conduct a fresh joint survey to resolve pending matters. He also directed them to resolve Achinathang Land transfer issue to Construct school at the earliest.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shabir Hussain; Brig Sunil Dalal, Station Cdr Leh, Brig KMS Rana, Station Cdr Nimu, Colonel B Amarnath, Col Q HQ 14 Corps; Col Navjot Kang, SO (Land), HQ 14 Corps, Col Amit Lamba Administrative Commandant Beema, Defence Estate Officer, Leh, Mohammad Nawaz Sharifud-din; Tehsildar, Leh, Khaltsi, Nyoma, Tangtse and Kharu, Naib Tehsildars from Basgo, Chumathang, disket and other officials.
