Municipal Committee Kargil Warns Against Road Obstructions
Kargil, June 7, 2025 – The Kargil Municipal Committee has issued a stern notice to all residents and owners regarding the unattended presence of debris, construction materials, and other obstructions on main and link roads within municipal jurisdiction. The committee emphasized that such practices pose a significant inconvenience to the public and disrupt smooth traffic flow.
The notice, issued by the Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee Kargil, explicitly states that these actions are illegal and will result in action being taken against the defaulters as per municipal regulations.
All owners are herewith intimated to immediately remove any such materials from public thoroughfares within two days from the date of issuance of this notice. Failure to comply will lead to strict penalties as per municipal regulations. The public is also encouraged to report any such violations to the Municipal Office.
