Kargil, June 01, 2025: The Ice Hockey Association of Kargil held a significant meeting to deliberate on multiple crucial issues pertaining to the development and regulation of ice hockey in the district. Key discussions focused on the current status and future plans for ice hockey infrastructure, preparation for upcoming tournaments, regulations concerning local clubs, and Ice Hockey National Games.

The meeting was attended by members of the General Body, national-level players, and representatives from various ice hockey clubs across the district. Participants shared valuable insights and suggestions aimed at strengthening the ice hockey ecosystem in Kargil and promoting the sport among the youth.

The Association reaffirmed its commitment to developing world-class infrastructure and ensuring better coordination between clubs and governing bodies. Plans for hosting and participating in future competitions were also reviewed, with an emphasis on talent identification and grassroots development.
