One of the major highlights of the camp was a live demonstration of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Instructors explained its vital application in situations of clinical death, showcasing proper techniques to potentially save lives on the spot.
The session also included practical demonstrations of bandaging techniques for various injuries, including those to the head, arms, and legs. The use of wooden splints to stabilize fractures was shown to ensure safe transportation of the injured to healthcare facilities or safer locations.
Additionally, trainers demonstrated how to create emergency stretchers using common household items such as blankets and wooden sticks, equipping participants with practical knowledge for real-world emergencies.
In concluding the session, Traffic Inspector Mohd Nissar advised drivers to use the headshade of their vehicles to protect emergency patients during transport in critical situations.
