Kargil, May 21, 2025 – A delegation led by Councilor Baroo-Minji Advocate Khadim Hussain, along with Village Education Committee Minji members, met with Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon.

The delegation thanked Dr. Akhoon for his efforts in upgrading Minji High School to a Higher Secondary School, applauding his commitment to providing quality education, especially for underprivileged sections.

The delegation requested Dr. Akhoon to fill the vacant post of Urdu teacher, which he assured would be done soon by clearing the waiting list.

Dr. Akhoon congratulated the school on its excellent performance in recent board exams and praised the active role of VEC members, encouraging them to continue their support.

The delegation also requested additional funds for the remaining construction of the school building, which Dr. Akhoon assured would be released promptly.

Dr. Akhoon reiterated his commitment to supporting education in the region and thanked the delegation for their active engagement.
