At the outset of the meeting the chair welcomed the participants and briefed them regarding the digitization of land records and its importance in the day today life.
After deliberation and discussions, it was decided that the land records must be fully updated before the process of digitization, to ensure the entry of all such land parcels which are being cultivated and are under the physical possession of the land owner.
While briefing the meeting, Kacho Mohammad Feroz, Ex Councillor, Revenue expressed his concern about such parcels of lands which are in physical possession of the land owners but in revenue records such lands are not mutated and registered in their name which needs to be updated before digitization.
The revenue records which were freezed in the year 2021 for the purpose of digitization needs more updation as maximum records have not been updated.
The experts while referencing the SO 75 expressed that the procedures mentioned therein is same as followed during Hidayat Bandobast but during digitization all such procedures are not adopting only the available records are being digitised like a true copy.
It was recommended to the chair that for a smooth digitization process, all the records must be updated to the date and the genuine Nautors must be incorporated by giving the powers of attestation of mutations to the concerned SDMs and ADC. In the end, the chair addressed that all such genuine demands shall be taken up with the Advisor to HLG.
