Leh Dec.18: In a significant move towards fostering entrepreneurial opportunities in Ladakh, LG Ladakh convened a crucial meeting with Sh. B. Deveraj, IAS Joint Secy. DPIIT, GoI. The agenda centered on propelling the implementation of diverse DPIIT schemes for the region’s aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Joint Secy. DPIIT, highlighting Ladakhis’ previous utilization of Industrial/Entrepreneurial Schemes and unveiling the potential benefits embedded within the newly crafted Industrial Development Schemes exclusively designed for Ladakh.

Present at this pivotal discussion were Advisor to LG, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS, Director Industries Nazir Ahmad, alongside the recently appointed AD Handloom & Handicraft.

LG affirmed that any policy or guideline regarding the establishment of new industries or units in Ladakh will be drafted in alignment with the aspirations of the region.
