Kargil 13 September: In order to align the establishment and operation of hotels with the laws governing environmental protection and public health, the Ladakh Pollution Control Committee (LPCC) has formulated draft guidelines for obtaining consent to establish and consent to operate for hotels and restaurants.

In this context, stakeholders are invited to provide their comments and suggestions, on the official website of the Member Secretary of LPCC, UT Ladakh. The period for receiving comments and suggestions will extend until October 13, 2023.

The draft guidelines for Hotels and Restaurants will come into effect following approval by the LG Ladakh and their publication in the Official Gazette.
