Interfaith Diplomacy workshop held in Kargil
VoL Desk, August 22: United States based organisation convened an inter-faith diplomacy workshop at Ashina Eco Resort in district Kargil where prominent Ladakhi political leaders, members of religious institutions and other civil society members attended, informed reliable sources.
The leaders and civil society members discussed peace, communal harmony, coexistence and inter-faith tolerance at the workshop conducted by the organisation named Inter-Faith Based Diplomacy (IFBD).
It was further informed that earlier a similar conference was also conducted at Dragon Hotel in Leh.

Veteran leader and former MLA Qambar Ali Akhone, former Cabinet Minister Dorjay Lakruk, members of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Anjuman Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil, Ladakh Buddhist Association, Anjuman Imamia Leh, Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam, Anjuman Sahib Zaman Sankoo, Anjuman Tableeghat Imam Reza Sankoo, Advocates, and social workers attended the workshop.

Extremely poor reporting/ journalism. You hv nothing more then to inform that, they discussed about coexist and peace? Atleast a small effort could hv been made to quote some of leaders or the message they gave out of the conference , few lines. Your poor reporting makes it appear to be nothing less than an excursion party. Please for the sake of evolution of journalism in Ladakh, write few more lines/facts about an event, we are almost a state now 🙏
