VoL Desk, July 01: District Magistrate, Chairman DDMA, Leh Shrikant Balasaheb Suse has preponed the summer vacation in all Government and Private schools of Leh to break the recent spike in Covid cases among school students.

The District Magistrate in a letter to the Chief Education Officer, Leh has directed to declare summer vacation of 15 days in all schools of Leh district from July 04, 2022.

“Apropos the subject & reference mentioned above, and in light of the recent spike in the COVID-19 cases, especially amongst the school children, it will be appropriate to
prepone the summer vacation in all the Govt./Private Schools of Leh district as a measure to break the chain of infection.

“In this regard, you are hereby directed to declare 15 days summer vacation in all the Govt./Private Schools in Leh district from 4th July, 2022 (Monday) onwards”, read the leter.
