Kargil Inter school Quran recitation competition concludes
VoL Desk, April 30, 2022: The second series of annual inter-private schools Quranic recitation program organised by All Private Schools Association, Kargil (APSAK) under the patronage of Board of Management, MPS Baroo held today at Mutahhary Public School Baroo.
Around 11 Private Schools from all over Kargil took part in the recitation competition. The proceeding begun with the welcome speech by Principal MPS Baroo, Murtaza Khalili to all the participants and Guests.
The Inter School Quranic Competition held in two categories of Boys and Girls based on ‘Husun Qarat’ (beautiful recitation) for the Boys and ‘Tartil Quran’ (recitation with rules) for Girls.
Hujatul Islam Sheikh Mohmmad Hussain Lutfi, Chairman Guardian Council MPS Baroo was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, Sheikh Lutfi appreciated the APSAK for organising the Inter School Quranic competition in the holy month of Ramadan and stressed to organise such program at respective school levels once in a month to raise the standard of Quranic recitation and to increase the acquaintance with Holy Quran.
He further advised the students to render the verses of Holy Quran by completely surrender themselves to the almighty.
Meanwhile Hojatul Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Kareemi and Sheikh Khadim Sadiqe were presided as Judge for the competition.
In the Qarat Catagory of Boys SVP School Kargil bagged the 1st position, MPS HD Kurbathang bagged 2nd and JAMEK stands 3rd.
In the Tartil catagory of Girls section, 1st postion was bagged by JAMEK, 2nd position won by MPS Baroo and 3rd position was won by Upright Pashkum.
The programe concluded with the distribution of awards and appreciation certificate to the participants.
