Sheep Husbandry Dept Khaltsi dispatches 800 FMD vaccine doses
Leh, July 13: Keeping in view the recent outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in Ladakh, the Sheep Husbandry Department, Khaltsi, initiated vaccination of sheep and goats against the disease.
The Department dispatched 800 doses of FMD vaccine to the villages along with block officers and dedicated medical teams for the early completion of mass vaccination of the livestock.
The vaccination drive commenced under the supervision of Block Officer, Sheep Husbandry Department, Khaltsi, Phuntsog Tashi.

The vaccination program is divided into two groups to cover different villages under the Khaltsi sub-division, including Dha, Beema, Hanu, Skurbuchan, Domkhar, Lamayuru and Kanji.
