KARGIL FEBRUARY 26, 2021: Several officers and officials of Revenue Department, Kargil including officers from DC Office Kargil were inoculated against COVID-19 at the District Hospital Kargil (DHK), Community Health Center (CHC) Sankoo and other health centres here today. 

Those who were given COVID-19 jabs at DHK included the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Kargil Shabir Hussain, Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Kargil Abdul Hadi, Tehsildar Kargil Muhammad Salim Wazir, Accounts Officer to DC, Kargil Ajaz Hussain, Naib Tehsildar, Kargil Muhammad Hassan, PA to DC Kargil Fida Hussain besides other officers and officials.

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Sankoo Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, Tehsildar Sankoo Dr Sarwar Shahzad along with 18 officers and officials of Revenue Department were given COVID-19 vaccine shots at CHC Sankoo, SDM Drass Asgar Ali among 8 frontline workers at Sub District Hospital Drass and Tehsildar Tai Suru Sajjad Hussain among 14 frontline workers  at PHC Panikhar.

Meanwhile, as per the details made available by the District Immunization Officer (DIO), Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbass, 326 Health Workers in the district have been given the 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine till Thursday, while 1615 Health Workers have been inoculated 1st dose of the vaccine.

Moreover, frontline workers including 899 police personnel and 34 MC Workers have also given the 1st dose of vaccination till Thursday, the DIO said.
