15-day SBI RSETI Skill Development Programme Concludes at Leh
Leh, February 25, 2021: The 15-day fast food stall and Udyami training programme organised by the State Bank of India, Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI), Leh concluded here today.
Deputy Commissioner (DC), Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse presided over the valedictory function. Director SBI RSETI, Leh, Anil Singh; Convener, UTLBC, Leh, TseringMorup; Chief Manager, SBI, Leh, Tsering Wangmo; Chief Manager, SBI RACC, Leh, Tsewang Dorjay; Marketing Officer, PNB Leh, Rohit Sharma and Branch Manager, J&K Bank, Skalzangling, Tsewang Dorjay were present during the event.
A total of 39 unemployed youth were trained in two batches from different areas of Leh, including Nubra valley. The participants were trained in bakery items and goods.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Leh, Shrikant Suse congratulated the trainees and advised them to be an employment-generator rather than an employment-seeker. He impressed upon RSETI Leh to start a training programme based on the demands of the local market. He also lauded the efforts of RSETI Leh.
Director, SBI RSETI, Leh, Anil Singh apprised DC Leh that the institution would conduct new training programmes on preparing sea buckthorn and apricot juice and yak cheese in the upcoming financial year.
Certificates were distributed among the participants. Sonam Chozang, faculty SBI RSETI, Leh, gave the vote of thanks.
