Kargil, May 28, 2025 – The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Kargil, in collaboration with the Labour Department, Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU), Child Welfare Committee (CWC), and Childline Kargil, conducted a joint inspection campaign this month at various construction sites in Sankoo and Taisuru.
This campaign was part of a concerted effort to identify and prevent instances of child labour and to ensure the rights and welfare of children are upheld in accordance with the law.

Zanskar, May 26, 2025 – A large-scale plantation drive by Anjuman-e-Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil, under its green initiative Al Hima-Laya Green Mission and Research Centre, concluded at Government Degree College (GDC) Zanskar on Monday.
