Ladakh UT Admin Bans Import of Live Birds in Ladakh

Leh/ Jan. 12: Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar has notified complete ban on import of live birds, including poultry and unprocessed poultry meat for any purpose, into the Union Territory of Ladakh with immediate effect due to the prevailing Avian flu across the country.

Ladakhi Marathon Runner Finishes Fourth

Leh/ Jan. 10: Representing India, Jigmet Dolma from UT Ladakh finished fourth among the participants from South Asian countries in the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon held in Bangladesh.
