Post-Matric Scholarship dates extend for Students of Ladakh

Leh, January 18: Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India has extended the dates for students of Ladakh applying for post-matric scholarship. The last date for accepting applications has been changed to January 24th from 15th January in view of the request from the Department of Social & Tribal Welfare, UT of Ladakh.

UT Ladakh reports 164 new Covid-19 positive cases

Leh, Jan 19: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 164 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 118 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 46 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No deaths were reported in the UT yesterday.

While a total of 837 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 477 sample reports in Leh and 195 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative.
