Indian Woman Reportedly Crosses LoC into Pakistan, Raising Security Concerns
Kargil, May 17, 2025 – According to media reports, a 43-year-old woman from Nagpur, Maharashtra, identified as Sunita, has allegedly crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and entered Pakistan, leaving security agencies stunned. Sources indicate that Sunita entered Pakistan from the last border village of Hunderman in Kargil on Wednesday, triggering serious concerns among sensitive agencies and border security authorities.
Sunita, a former nurse at a hospital in Nagpur’s northern region, reportedly took this step to meet a Pakistani priest. This was allegedly her third attempt—she had been stopped twice before while trying to cross the border at Attari.
The incident comes at a time of heightened border tensions between India and Pakistan, with heavy military deployment along the LoC. Sunita’s successful crossing without obstruction raises serious questions about security protocols. Reports suggest she left her 15-year-old son in the border village of Hunderman, telling him she would “return soon.”
Sources say Sunita is currently in the custody of Pakistani security agencies, where she is being interrogated to determine the motives behind her unusual move. Indian authorities have not yet officially confirmed the incident, but intelligence sources claim that local villagers in Pakistan spotted her and alerted officials, leading to her arrest.
Was Sunita’s action driven purely by personal emotions, or is there a deeper conspiracy behind it? The answer may only emerge after further investigation. However, this incident highlights potential security lapses and the new challenges posed by online interactions at an individual level.
