Kargil, April 11, 2025: The Intra-Mural Sports Competitions for the academic year 2024–25 in Volleyball (Men’s & Women’s) and Women’s Kho-Kho at Govt. Degree College Kargil, Sankoo Campus, commenced in November 2024. Due to winter and snowfall, the final matches were postponed and concluded today with the much-anticipated finals in both men’s and women’s volleyball.

The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various semesters, reflecting the vibrant sports culture of the campus.

On the final day, thrilling volleyball matches captivated the audience. In the men’s category, Mix Sem Smashers faced off against Mix Sem Warriors, with the Smashers emerging victorious in a nail-biting 3–2 finish. In the women’s final, Yellow Smashers delivered a commanding performance against Green Smashers, winning the match in straight sets (3–0).

The matches began at 11:30 AM and concluded by 3:30 PM, showcasing exemplary sportsmanship, energy, and team spirit.

The event was honored by the presence of Nodal Officer, Mr. Saleem, who congratulated all the participants and awarded trophies and medals to the winners. Refreshments were also distributed to all players and officials to celebrate the successful conclusion of the tournament.
