Kargil, April 16, 2025: Executive Councillor, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi today inspected various developmental works at Wakha Mulbek.

He was accompanied by Councillor Shargole Mohd Jawad, engineers from the R&B Department, and several local residents.

EC Tashi inspected the ongoing library construction at Padmaling Chamba and directed the contractor to initiate land development work at the earliest, in consultation with local community.

The EC directed the Engineer of the R&B Department to closely monitor the library construction to ensure there are no lapses in execution. Later, he inspected the proposed site for the construction of a link road from Abadi to Chulung, instructing the contractor to carry out work as per the original alignment, which was prepared in consultation with local residents.

He also directed JEEs of R&B Department to constantly monitor the work in coordination with contractor and pace up road works as soon possible to complete the project with in the stipulated timeline.
