AKSAD Celebrates Eid ul-Fitr and Announces New Executive Body for 2025-26
New Delhi, April 1, 2025 – The All Kargil (Ladakh) Students’ Association Delhi (AKSAD) marked Eid ul-Fitr with joyous celebrations, embracing the spirit of unity and faith. Alongside the festivities, the organization successfully conducted its General Election 2025 to form the new Executive Body, held on March 31 at Ahlebait Public School.
The election featured competitive races for the positions of President and Vice President, with two candidates vying for each role. The remaining positions—Finance Secretary, Media Coordinator, and General Secretary—were filled uncontested due to single nominations.
AKSAD members participated enthusiastically, casting their votes in a well-organized process overseen by the Election Board. Strict protocols were followed to ensure transparency and fairness, with agents supervising the vote counting.

The results of the closely contested elections are as follows:
President:
- Mohammad Ibrahim – 144 votes (Elected)
- Nasir Hussain – 130 votes
Vice President:
- Sajjad Hussain – 180 votes (Elected)
- Syed Hussan Razvi – 95 votes
The newly elected leadership team comprises:
- President: Mohammad Ibrahim
- Vice President: Sajjad Hussain
- Finance Secretary: Javed Iqbal
- Media Coordinator: Muntazir Ul Mehdi
- General Secretary: Asiya Banoo
The oath-taking ceremony for the incoming Executive Body is scheduled for April 4, 2025, at Imamia Hall, New Delhi. The event will formally inaugurate the new leadership, which will steer AKSAD’s initiatives for the upcoming term.
