Mutahhary Educational Society Conducts Four-Day Training for KG/Primary Teachers
Kargil, March 14, 2025 – In a step towards enhancing the quality of education, Mutahhary Educational Society (MES), Kargil, successfully conducted a four-day orientation program for KG and Primary Teachers from March 11 to 14, 2025, at MPS Bazar. Themed “Reimagining Schooling in Line with Modern Trends in Education,” the program aimed at equipping teachers with innovative teaching methodologies aligned with 21st-century education.
A total of 45 teachers participated in the training, which was conducted by nine trained educators—Batool Banoo, Khatija Banoo, Suriya Banoo, Bilqiss Banoo, Fatima Banoo, Kharoon Nissa, Shahar Banoo, Zainab Banoo, and Kharoon Nissa, who had recently undergone intensive training in Alipur, Bangalore, under the guidance of Madam Asma Zaidi, a renowned trainer and Regional Director of Literacy International India. The training focused on modern teaching techniques, student engagement strategies, and fostering a dynamic classroom environment.
The program concluded with a valedictory function on March 14 at the Conference Hall, Imam Khomeini Tower. The Executive Councillor of LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Feroz, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai, Patron of MES, was the Guest of Honor. The session commenced with the Recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech by Nasir Ud Din Khafi, Head Academic, MES.

Joining virtually via Google Meet, Madam Asma Zaidi delivered the keynote address, presenting an insightful session on reimagining schooling in the 21st century. She also provided a debrief on the recent Bangalore training, which saw participation from 10 teachers from Mutahhary Schools alongside 18 educators from other institutions in Ladakh, including six from Suru Valley Public Higher Secondary School, Kargil.
In his speech, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai described teaching as the noblest profession, emphasizing that teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of shaping future generations. He encouraged educators to continue their journey of learning and professional growth.
Addressing the gathering, EC Kacho Feroz stressed that teachers play a pivotal role in empowering students and are the best resources to understand societal needs. He applauded the efforts of Mutahhary Educational Society in organizing such impactful training sessions and assured full support from LAHDC Kargil in its future initiatives.
As a token of recognition, certificates were distributed among the participating teachers who successfully completed the orientation program. The gesture highlighted the importance of continuous professional development and the commitment of MES to fostering excellence in education.
In his vote of thanks, Er. Haji Mohammed Ali (Vice Chairman, MES) expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, trainers, and participants, reaffirming MES’s commitment to advancing quality education in the region. He emphasized the organization’s dedication to equipping educators with modern pedagogical advancements, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience.
