Expressing concern, he stated that some councilors and Hill Council officials in Kargil have openly admitted that funds are being allocated only to their supporters. If true, this is tantamount to an attack on the public treasury and embezzlement. He urged the councilors to change their behavior and adopt a fair policy towards all citizens.

Speaking on global issues, Sheikh Lufti strongly condemned Israel’s brutal bombing of Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom of over 500 Palestinians. He also denounced the American aggression in Yemen and called for special prayers during the Night of Qadr (Laylatul Qadr) for the oppressed. He appealed to Muslims to completely boycott Israeli products and participate in large numbers on the upcoming Quds Day. Additionally, he condemned the Waqf Bill and called for protests against it, stating that if the bill is passed, people will take to the streets in opposition.

Sheikh Lufti also strongly condemned the recent riots in Nagpur and demanded justice from the government for the atrocities committed against Muslims.

He appealed to parents to pay special attention to the upbringing of their children and keep a close watch on them to protect them from harmful elements like drugs.
