Leh, March 10: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, in the presence of DC/CEO, LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a review meeting today in the Conference Hall of the Council Secretariat to assess the expenditure under the District Capex Budget.

During the meeting, officials conducted a detailed review of the allocated works across multiple departments, including PWD R&B, I&FC, Health, PHE, RD&PRD Leh, Education, KDA, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, and PDD, among others. They also assessed expenditure liabilities, balances, pending bills, and the status of returned or surrendered funds.

CEC urged all departments and executing agencies to accelerate their efforts to maximize expenditure at the earliest.

The meeting primarily focused on evaluating progress, ensuring the timely utilization of allocated funds, and maintaining financial oversight for optimal resource management.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer; District Superintending Engineer PWD; ACD Leh; Executive Engineers PHE, PDD, Igoo Phey, Construction Division, (R&B), and Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC); Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE.
