Moulana Feroz Ahmad Rabbani Honored with Prestigious Wal-Fajr Award 2025
VoL Desk, February 09, 2025 – Moulana Feroz Ahmad Rabbani was conferred the esteemed Wal-Fajr Award 2025 at Minjee, Kargil, today, on the occasion of Youmullah, the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of 1979. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to Islamic preaching, spiritual awakening, and community service across multiple states in India.
The Wal-Fajr Award celebrates Moulana Rabbani’s unwavering dedication to the student community in Delhi, his remarkable academic accomplishments in both university and seminary studies, and his significant contributions to literature and poetry.
The Wal-Fajr Committee, while highlighting Rabbani’s achievements, stated, “Moulana Feroz Ahmad Rabbani holds a BA in Geography (Honours), an MA in Urdu Literature, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Urdu Literature. His doctoral research also contributes to the literary heritage of Ladakh”.

“Simultaneously, he is advancing his seminary studies, having completed Karshinasi and Arshad. A gifted poet and orator, he addresses Majalis congregations in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and other Indian states. Additionally, he mentors students in Delhi, providing spiritual and career guidance through the student association.”
The Wal-Fajr Award is presented annually to individuals who demonstrate extraordinary contributions in any field that benefits humanity. As a committee member emphasized, “Service to mankind is the highest form of worship.”
