February 12, 2025: Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson in the presence of Hon’ble Alchi Councillor Lobzang Sherab held a meeting with Shri Sanjai Rai, Head of Project (HoP) for Nimoo Bazgo and Chutak Power Station (NBPS); Shri Manoj Kumar, DGM (Technical), and Shri Raj Kumar Singh, Dy. Manager (Civil), NBPS.

The discussions centered around the region’s vast hydroelectric potential, focusing on the future of hydroelectric projects in Ladakh. They also explored opportunities for tourism development near the scenic Alchi Reservoir and the prospects for solar energy and hydrogen mobility projects, all aligned with sustainable development goals.

CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson acknowledged the significant contributions of NBPS and reaffirmed that the Council will continue to back such initiatives for the growth and development of the region.
