Kargil, February 01, 2025: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today met with a delegation of Thangdumbur village led by Councilor, Aga Syed Ahmed Razvi.
The delegation informed the CEC about various issues, including drinking water supply, new lift irrigation for agriculture, and remodelling and widening of the Karpo Khar canal.
The CEC Kargil gave a patiently listened all the issues and assured early redressal in a phased manner.
The Union Government on Saturday proposed an allocation of Rs 4,692.15 crore for the Union Territory of Ladakh for the financial year 2025-26.
According to budget documents. the Union Finance Ministry has proposed Rs 2,450 crore as revenue expenditure for the newly created Union Territory, and Rs 2,242.15 crore as capital expenditure
