Delhi, January 17, 2025: The All Kargil (Ladakh) Students’ Association Delhi (AKSAD) concluded the grand event “Ali: the Voice of Human Justice” celebrating the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (A.S), marking the beginning of the LOSAR-chi the Ladakhi New Year on 17 January at Imamia Hall Shia Jama Masjid, Panchkuian Road, New Delhi.

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a welcome speech by Sheikh Jawad Habib. The distinguished speakers of the event were Aga Mahdi Mahdavipour, Representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader; Dr. Mohd Jaffar Akhone,CEC LAHDC-Kargil; Haji Haneefa Jan, Hon’ble MP Ladakh; Haji Qambar Ali Akhone; Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai and Sajjad Hussain Kargili.

Addressing the participants the Chief Guest of the program Aga Mahdi Mahdavipour sermoned on the value of truthfulness. He appreciated the Ladakhi Students as an asset for the nation.

Dr Mohd Jaffar Akhone, the Guest of Honour stressed on the moral health of the students, along with mental and physical health. He cited Imam Ali (a.s) as an flawless example for it.

Marking the Ladakhi new year eve ‘Losar’, this year AKSAD showcased a unique cultural Food Exhibition and Art Gallery presenting various cultural cuisine, foods and art works and paintings prepared by the students.
