Leh, Jan 10, 2025: The Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh and Chairman of the Ladakh Subordinate Services Selection Board (LSSSSB), Dr. Pawan Kotwal, chaired a meeting of the Board at the Conference Hall, UT Secretariat, Leh, to discuss the notification of the advertisement of posts and the timelines for application forms through the Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board.

Secretary, GAD, Ladakh, Michael D’Souza, provided information about the processes for notifying the posts. He stated that LSSSSB is prepared to issue its first ever advertisement in January. He also mentioned that the notification is tentatively scheduled for January 13th, and the portal will open for registration on January 25th. The application process will close on February 20th, 2025, and the examination for the posts is expected to be held on the first Sunday of April 2025, subject to the opening of National Highway (NH1D).

It is highlighted that the examination for the posts should be conducted in two parts: general and subject-specific. He further explained that the portal will be structured for candidates to complete their applications in a sequence that includes registration, application submission, and payment.

The committee engaged in a detailed discussion on various aspects of the notification process, including the advertisement of posts, registration of application forms, the payment gateway, specific rules for uploading photographs and signatures, document uploads, the application form, and the admit card format.

The Chairman directed the officials of the Board to adhere to the recruitment rules while notifying the advertisement of posts. He emphasized simplifying the application process for candidates.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar, Secretary GAD Ladakh Michael D’Souza, SIO NIC Ladakh Sunil Kaul, Director NIC Ladakh Punchok Paldan, Secretary LSSSSB Rigzin Spalgon, and Under Secretary LSSSSB Jigmet Angchuk.
