Vol Desk, 30 Dec 2024 : LAHDC Leh, bid a heartfelt farewell to outgoing Commissioner/Secretary, Padma Angmo, expressing gratitude for her exemplary leadership and significant contributions during her tenure.

Hon’ble Executive Councillors, Ghulam Mehdi and Stanzin Chosphel, along with ADC Leh Ghulam Mohd, Chief Controller of Finance Dr. Zulfikar Ali, were present at the farewell ceremony.

Although the Hon’ble Chairman Tashi Gyalson was unable to attend the ceremony, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Padma Angmo’s exceptional service, recognizing her professionalism, commitment, and vision. CEC also extended his best wishes for her future endeavors, recognizing the lasting positive changes she has brought to the administration and the people of Leh.

Under her leadership, several key programs were introduced that significantly enhanced cultural awareness, community engagement, and administrative transparency.

As a mark of appreciation, the LAHDC Leh presented Padma Angmo with a traditional Thanka ,a symbol of gratitude and respect for her valuable contributions to the region.
