Kargil, Ladakh, [Date 2ñd December]: Government Middle School Bagh-e-Khomani Kargil celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm, marking a year of outstanding achievements. The event was attended by over 300 parents and students, who gathered to witness the school’s accomplishments.

The school’s outstanding performance was evident in the impressive results, with 80% of students securing Grade A in their exams. Moreover, the school bagged the second position in the entire Union Territory of Ladakh in a project submission on the theme of sustainability and waste, organized by Wipro Earthen. This achievement is a testament to the school’s dedication to excellence, as it outshone reputed schools like Lumdo Public School and many other high schools and higher secondary schools in the UT.

During the ceremony, over 100 trophies and medals were distributed among students for their exceptional performance throughout the year. Saniya Zehra from Class 6th was declared the “Student of the Year” for her outstanding achievements.

Parents and Village Education Committee (VEC) members expressed their gratitude to the teachers for their tireless efforts and hard work, which have contributed significantly to the school’s success.

Headmistress Mrs. Kaneez Fatima emphasized the crucial role of parents in boosting the morale of students and teachers. She requested parents to visit the school at least once a week to stay updated on their child’s progress.

The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the students, marking a memorable end to the Annual Day celebrations.
