CEC Kargil attends book launch ceremony of Kacho Hassan Khan’s “Simplified English Grammar”

Kargil, Dec 23, 2024: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today attended the book launch ceremony of “Simplified English Grammar for 9th to 12th Standards” authored by Kacho Hassan Khan, Senior Lecturer.

The event was organized by Lecturers Forum Kargil. Chief Education Officer, Kargil, Incharge Principal DIET, Ex Executive Councillor, former Educators Association President, President of Lecturers Forum, lecturers, educationists and other dignitaries attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the CEC congratulated Kacho Hassan Khan on behalf of the Hill Council Kargil for his academic contribution. He lauded the author’s efforts and praised the role of teachers in shaping the future of society. He thanked the Lecturers Forum for recognizing Kacho Hassan Khan’s work and for organizing the event.

Dr. Akhoon reiterated the Hill Council’s commitment to prioritizing education and mentioned the Council’s Vision Document-2047, which aims to bring comprehensive development to Kargil. He encouraged lecturers to share their suggestions for the overall growth of the region. The CEC assured the audience of continued support from the Hill Council to strengthen the education sector.

Earlier, Vice President of the Lecturers Forum Kargil, Sajjad Ali, formally welcomed the guests, following which the book was officially released.

The author, Kacho Hassan Khan, shared his experiences and reflections on writing the book and highlighted the need for simplified learning resources for students.

CEO Kargil appreciated the author’s efforts and commended the Lecturers Forum for organizing the event.

The Incharge Principal DIET discussed the challenges and opportunities in the education sector and acknowledged the dedication of teachers in driving positive changes. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the President of Lecturers Forum, Kacho Hassan Khan.
