Leh, November 21, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a meeting to evaluate the excess/surrender under the District Capex Budget (2024-25) allocated to various departments at Conference Hall of DC Office Leh on November 21.

During the meeting, all the departments presented an overview of the utilization of their funds and expenditure for various developmental works within the district. The Deputy Commissioner Leh meticulously reviewed the expenditure and excess surrender and directed all Heads of Departments (HODs) to submit their reconciled figures and exact expenditures report by Monday. He instructed the HoDs to ensure the completion of purchases under various heads such as ICT, machinery, furniture and others on time. He asserted the officers to give extra attention to all the expenditures progress for the upcoming year.

DC Leh instructed the HoDs to ensure completion of their expenditure by end of November. Further, he emphasized the officers to keep record of their physical achievements with good photographs along with a brief description. He asserted the officers to achieve timely work and to ensure proper expenditures.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Leh Tsewang Gyalson and Head of Departments of all the Departments of Leh district.
