VoL Desk, September 05: The UT Ladakh Administration has announced the nomination of three councilors for the 5th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, according to a notification issued by the General Administrative Department, Ladakh, on Wednesday.

The nominated councilors are:

1. Mr. Namgyal Phuntsok, son of Tundup Dorjay, resident of Raru, Zanskar
2. Mr. Regzin Gurmath, son of Kawang Tundup, resident of Garkone, Kargil
3. Ms. Hakima Khatoon, wife of Shamim Ahmad, resident of Shakar Chiktan, Kargil.

These nominations have been made in accordance with the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of the LAHDC Act, 1997.
