Procession Held in Kargil to Commemorate Prophet Mohammad, Shia Imams
VoL Desk, September 03: To commemorate the anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), his grandson, the second Shia Imam Hassan Mujtaba, and the eighth Shia Imam Ali Reza, the Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) in Kargil organized a procession today. The procession began at Jama Masjid Kargil and concluded at Hussaini Park.
During the procession, mourners recited elegies and lamented in remembrance of the martyrdom of these revered figures, who are seen as role models for humanity in upholding moral values and establishing a peaceful society.
Participants also chanted slogans expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza, who are facing bombings and a siege by Israel, actions supported by the United States and other European countries. The crowd condemned Israel, the USA, and other powerful nations for their actions and alleged war crimes in Palestine.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of IKMT, Sheikh Sadiq Rajai highlighted that Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) was a role model for all of humanity, and for all previous messengers of Almighty Allah, from Prophet Adam to the final messenger.
He also reflected on the hardships endured by the Prophet and the exemplary life he led—from the first revelation in the Cave of Hira, through three years of clandestine preaching, ten years of open preaching in Mecca, and a decade of leadership in Medina—that contributed to the establishment of the model city of Medina.
