VoL Desk, September 10: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has announced the bye-election dates for the 21-Thangdumbur Constituency to elect a new member for the vacant seat in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil.

In accordance with the powers granted under Rule 12 of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils (Election) Rules, 1995, the following schedule has been set:

Nomination Period: Nominations can be submitted from 11th September 2024, with the deadline for submission on 18th September 2024.

Scrutiny of Nominations: Scheduled for 19th September 2024.

Withdrawal of Nominations: The last date for withdrawal is 21st September 2024.

Polling Date: Voting will take place on 5th October 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Vote Counting: The counting of votes will be held on 9th October 2024, and the entire election process will be completed by 12th October 2024.
