IKMT Kargil Holds Massive Procession to Commemorate Hezbollah Leader’s Martyrdom
VoL Desk, September 29: In remembrance of the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Syed Hassan Nasrallah, the Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil organized a massive procession condemning the assassination of the resistance leader, citing violations of International Humanitarian Law.
Thousands of mourners gathered in Kargil town on Sunday, chanting elegies and slogans in solidarity with Palestine and against the aggressions of America and Israel. The crowd, carrying flags and images of Syed Hassan Nasrallah, expressed their grief and defiance with calls of “Labbaik Ya Khamenei,” “Alwida Nasrallah,” and “Shahadat Saadat” echoing throughout the town.
“The arrogant powers have blinded themselves to the real strength of the Muslim world. This brutal assassination of Syed Hassan Nasrallah is not a defeat for Hezbollah, but a step toward the eventual downfall of America and Israel. The martyrdom of this resistance leader proves that Hezbollah remains alive and prosperous, while this inhumane act signifies a major step towards decline of the illegal state of Israel,” stated Sheikh Sadiq Rajai, Executive Chairman of IKMT.

He praised Nasrallah’s leadership over the past three decades, emphasizing his courage and maturity in leading Hezbollah since 1992.
Simultaneously, the Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya, Kargil, also held a fatiha khwani (prayer congregation) to honor the memory of Syed Hassan Nasrallah.
