Leh, September 19, 2024: Hon’ble Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson, LAHDC, Leh accompanied by Executive Councillor for Agriculture Stanzin Chosphel, DC/CEO Santosh Sukhadeve, and Naib Tehsildar Attaullah Khan, conducted an official visit to the LAHDC Agriculture Excellency Center and the Farmer Training Institute. The primary focus of this visit was to review the ongoing construction of the hostel and assess the overall progress of the institute.

During the visit, CEC Gyalson reviewed the status of land allotment, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to promote sustainable agricultural practices in the region and emphasised the importance of optimizing the use of land for innovative agricultural research.

The delegation also inspected the progress of the CSIR Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine’s experimental research farm in Palam Chuchot. This site plays a crucial role in advancing agricultural research and practices, contributing significantly to the development of the local farming community.
