Al-Itihat Youth Federation Goma Kargil Promotes Youth Empowerment and Environmental Sustainability
Kargil, September 22, 2024: The Al-Itihat Youth Federation proudly organized a vibrant event on Sunday, themed “Sustaining Nature, Securing Future” aimed to foster creativity, knowledge, and youth empowerment at the local level, drawing enthusiastic participation from numerous schools across Kargil Town.
The event featured a series of engaging activities including painting workshops, quizzes, and debates, all designed to encourage environmental awareness and creativity among young minds. Novice artists Anayat Ali, Zehra Batool, and Shabir Alico led the painting workshops, imparting invaluable skills and inspiration to the students.
Distinguished guests enriched the occasion, with Kacho Feroz, Executive Councillor of LAHDC Kargil, serving as the Chief Guest. Haji Mohd Abass Adulpa, Councillor of Town Kargil, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Prof. Salim, Principal of Degree College Sankoo, motivated attendees to strive for excellence in their academic and personal endeavors.

A special highlight of the event was the recognition of local students who successfully qualified for the NEET entrance exam. Their achievements were celebrated as a source of inspiration for students’ fraternity, reinforcing the message that hard work and dedication lead to success. Winners of various competitions were also acknowledged, showcasing the immense talent within the community.
Mohd Fayaz, a member of the Al-Itihat Youth Federation, presented a memorandum addressing critical community issues, particularly advocating for the upgradation of Goma Kargil High School to Higher Secondary Level.
Kacho Feroz assured attendees of continued support for youth initiatives, emphasizing the importance of nurturing talent and fostering leadership within the community. Haji Mohd Abass Adulpa commended the Federation’s efforts in empowering the youth and promoting sustainable practices.
The event concluded with heartfelt thanks from Mr. Idress Hussain, President of the Al-Itihat Youth Federation Goma Kargil.
