Social Welfare Office, Leh Organizes Nukkad Natak and Flash Mob to Promote De-Addiction Awareness
Leh, 14 August 2024 – The District Social Welfare Office, Leh, today organized a Nukkad Natak and flash mob at the Main Market, Leh. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote de-addiction in the region.
This initiative was part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA)for a Drug-Free India and its ongoing efforts to engage with the community and encourage a drug-free society. The performances of the Nukkad Natak and flash mob delivered powerful messages about the risks associated with drug abuse and the importance of seeking help for those affected.
“We are committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by drug abuse,” said Mr. Thinlay Norboo, Manager of the District De-Addiction Center, Leh. “Through this initiative, we aim to create a supportive environment for those seeking help and promote a healthier, drug-free lifestyle.”
