Leh,Aug 07: An important meeting was conducted under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson on Aug 6 and was attended by Dy. Chairman LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk and Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgail Yakzee.

H’CEC Gyalson on today provided financial assistance of Rs 20 Lakh to the Ashoka Mission, New Delhi in the presence of President Ashoka Mission, Thupstan Chhewang(Former MP) and Gen. Secretary,  Tashi Motup Kau as Hill Council, Leh has been supporting the organisation in the past years.

Considering the difficult situation of patients suffering from complex diseases, Ashoka Mission has been a pioneer in supporting the patients, especially those from financially weaker backgrounds.

Further, the discussion was also held upon the upcoming super specialist camp to be conducted in Leh.
