This decision aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of building a developed and prosperous Ladakh, stated the Home Minister in a post on social media platform X.
The newly announced districts are Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang. According to Amit Shah, this initiative is designed to bring the benefits of governance directly to the people, reaching every corner of the region.
