Volunteer Youth Wing of IKMT Kargil Holds Procession in Solidarity with Gaza War Victims
VoL Desk, July 15: The volunteer youth wing of the Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil expressed solidarity with the war victims of Gaza in a procession rally organized to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali al-Akbar in Karbala.
The rally began at Jama Masjid Kargil, passed through the main market, and culminated at Khama-e-Hussaini in Hussaini Park. Mourners chanted nohas (elegies) paying tribute to the martyrs of Karbala and raised slogans in support of the oppressed people in Palestine and against the arrogant powers of America and Israel.
Hundreds of youth from the suburban areas of Kargil town, including disaster management volunteers, participated in the procession to honor Ali al-Akbar ibn Aba Abdillah al-Hussain, the middle son of Imam Hussain.

Ali al-Akbar is remembered as a brave youth martyred at the age of eighteen to twenty-five and celebrated for his striking resemblance, in appearance and manners, to his great-grandfather, the Prophet Muhammad.
