LG Holds Meeting on School Education in Ladakh
Leh, June 30: Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) held a meeting with officials from the School Education Department of UT Ladakh to discuss the rationalization of posts and resource persons.
The Lt Governor directed Principal Secretary Sanjiv Khirwar to implement biometric attendance for both teaching and non-teaching staff in government schools.
He emphasized the need to fully utilise the services of teachers, masters, and lecturers, and stated that all teaching staff should conduct at least four lectures per day.

Additionally, he instructed Shri Khirwar to maintain an appropriate school-teacher ratio and ensure that no government school remains without a head.
