Kargil, July 06: Executive Councilor, Education, LAHDC, Kargil, Zakir Hussain inaugurated Council Model Girls Middle School Bhibhmet and Council Model Middle School Drass.

Durring the inaugural session Councilor Ranbirpora Abdul Samadh; Councilor Bhhimbhet Abdul Wahid; Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kargil; Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Drass; former Councilor Syed Agha Mohd Shah, Village Committee Members (VC) of the respective villages, parents and students were present.

Speaking on the occasion, EC Zakir congratulated teachers, students and parents of both the schools to be the part of Council Model Schools.

He said the aim of the turning both the schools into Council Model School is to turn them as model school is to provide quality education and equip both the schools with modern education tools and infrastructure in the whole sub-Division.

EC said the dream to be model in education will only be possible with the help of active participation of VC members and parents. He also said that learning is a process and participation of both the teachers and the parents is equally important. He requested parents to look after their children and share the equal responsibility with teachers as well.

At Council Model Girls Middle School Bhibhmet, the principle requested EC Zakir to deploy HindI, and physical teacher. The EC said that in new proposal Hindi teacher will be made available to school. He also assured that within a week PET teacher will be deployed to the school. 

The EC directed CEO Kargil to provide computers, mattings and cushion chairs to both the schools. The Councilor Rambirpora assured that the grills for varanda at CMMS Drass will be provided out of his CCDA funds.
